Culinary Arts at JMMS!
In this class, students will study food terms, equipment, and measurements. We will also look at safety and sanitation, common food decisions, meal management-portion control, and take a look at the food industry and explore concerns with food. There will be an emphasis on the art of cooking and prepping meals from scratch. You will be preparing food on a weekly basis and will learn cooking techniques to use on a variety of recipes.
