AUSD is proud to work closely with the Alpine Education Foundation (AEF) to secure grants from private and corporate foundations, build the awareness within Alpine's local community that students need more than what is provided by the state, and to fund programs that make a difference in children's lives each day. iTouch the Future
AUSD and AEF have created a partnership to equip students with learning technology at a faster rate than AUSD can support on its own. The program is called iTouch the Future, and gives donors 3 levels with which to participate.
Student Sponsor
Student Sponsors donate $600 and provide the resources necessary to help three students in a class use cutting edge technology (tablet or iPod/iPad) to practice reading, writing, science, and mathematic’s skills.
Furthermore, students will learn new skills in music, art, design, and apply knowledge and critical thinking to create, solve and invent.
Classroom Sponsor
Donate $2000 and equip approx. ten students with mobile device computing power (purpose described above in student sponsor description)
Business/Benefactor Benefits:

Grade Level Sponsor
Donate $12,500 and equip up to 50 students with mobile device computing power (purpose described above in student sponsor description)
