My name is Keith Malcom and I am privileged to be the principal of Creekside Early Learning Center.

Education:  In 1978, I received a Bachlor of Science degree in Agronomy from Oklahoma State University and continued on to complete a Master of Science in Agronomy.  I received my teaching credential in New York City from multiple universites.  I obtained my administrative credential from the City College of New York.  After relocating to California, I was granted my Clear Administrative Services Credential from Point Loma Nazarene University.  

Background:  I began my teacher career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Caribbean Island of Antigua.  I taught Biology, Chemistry and Agricultural Science there for eight years before moving to New York City.  I taught incarcerated youth at Rikers Island Educational Facility and eventually became Assistant Principal Administration.  In 1998, I moved to California and taught at the ALBA Community School.  Two years later I obtained a position teaching Biology at Morse High School in the San Diego City School District.  After a year and a half, I became a Vice Principal at Morse.  I moved to Alpine in 2003 and in 2005 I became the Assistant Principal at Joan MacQueen Middle School.  In 2007, I was selected to be the Principal at Shadow Hills.  One year later, in addition to my duties at Shadow Hills, I became the principal of Creekside Early Learning Center.
