Professional Development in Alpine Union

In order for us to walk the talk, we have to model what life-long learners look like.  As professionals we seek ways to enhance our craft.  We want to learn from others.  We became educators to impact students.  We love learning.  We use our professional development time, early release days, and personal time to Reflect, Play, Collaborate, Model, and Teach!

REFLECT:  Spend time thinking about how what we learned should change our teaching

PLAY:  Try out some of the the things we have learned to make sure we retain them

COLLABORATE:  Collaborate with others that are reformulating teaching and learning  models

MODEL:  Transfer the learning to our individual practices 

TEACH:  Share with others when we are comfortable with the skills
