Hello this is Katy Andersen, Principal of Joan MacQueen Middle School. This call is a reminder to all parents that this coming Tuesday, April 28 is our drug, alcohol and intoxicant information night. This program is in response to some problems we have had here at Joan MacQueen. During this informative evening, parents will learn what to look for with their children and friends of their children. With the internet, kids have become more and more savvy about drug use; information programs such as this help us adults try to stay up on the latest information. The program is Tuesday, April 28 at 6:00 pm in the gym. This evening is for parents only. Students will have their assemblies in May. Positive Reinforcement for third quarter is next Friday, Friday May 1. Parent Input requests will begin on Monday, May 4. I look forward to seeing you all Tuesday evening.
