Program Description
The ESS Program is a before/after school day care program offered by the Alpine Union School District. The program operates on the campus of both Boulder Oaks and Creekside Early Learning Center. The ESS Program is financially independent of the Alpine Union School District. The program operates on the tuition paid by parents. All students enrolled in the Alpine School District are eligible to attend the ESS program. Summer session serves students that will be in grades K - 8, in the fall.

ESS Locations and Hours
The childcare center will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday during the regular school year session. During the Summer, Winter & Spring Breaks, the childcare center will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Parents who do not pick up their children by the scheduled closing time will be charged a late fee of $1.00 per minute per child after 6:00 p.m. Bus services included in ESS fees.

ESS Rates
Tuition is due on the first day of the month. Tuition becomes delinquent after the 15th. If tuition becomes overdue by one week, immediate withdrawal of your child is required. Should any two tuition payments become delinquent at any given time, ESS reserves the right to dismiss you from our program.
Each full time child enrolled in the program will be allowed two weeks vacation credit per school year. Credit is given for full week increments only.
We accept payment on-line through the district website, by personal checks, money orders, cashier's checks or cash. There are no refunds on child care fees.

Policies and Procedures
Calendars
Each month parents must complete and submit a calendar provided by ESS. This indicates when your child will be attending. Completed calendars must be submitted by the 15th of each month or a late fee may be charged. If we do not receive a calendar, ESS will not be responsible to pick up your child as ESS staff will not have this information.
Absences
If your child will be absent from the program on a contracted day, please call the ESS location that they attend; Boulder Oaks (619) 445-4915 or Creekside (619) 659-8695. The school office does not relay their called in absences to ESS. There are no refunds or credits for absences or partial attendance.
Late Pick Up
Parents arriving at the ESS Program after the scheduled closing time of 6:00 pm, will be charged a fee of $1.00 per minute. This fee is payable within one week.
