Welcome to Alpine Union School District. Nestled in the Cuyamaca Mountains in east county San Diego. We are a friendly community of approximately 15,000 residents. We serve approximately 1,750 students in grades K-8. We offer a range of programs, including dual spanish immersion, homeschool, Leader in Me, hybrid learning, robotics, and much more. We pride ourselves on having a “hometown” feel where students and families come first!

Online Registration For 2017-18 Is Now Open
Our online registration portal, ParentVue, is now open to enroll your child for the 2017-18 school year. If your child is returning to the Alpine Union School District for the 2017-18 you MUST complete the online registration process in order to be placed in classes for the 2017-2018 school year. Please complete your enrollment between April 25 - May 12. Simply click here to access the website and begin the process. If you need assistance please reach out to your school site.
AUSD Employees of the Year!
Congratulations to our 2016-17 employees of the year: Charlene Brown, Secretary at CELC is the AUSD Classified Employee of the Year and Lynette Ellis, from Alpine Elementary, is Alpine Union School District's Teacher of the Year.
2017-18 & 2018-19 Student Calendar: We are pleased to share that we have completed the student calendar for the next two school years. In the 2018-19 school year, we will be moving one week closer to the Grossmont Union School District's schedule, which was a priority parents shared in the calendar survey.
